October, 15-17, 2025
Rheintal-Jugendherberge in Oberwesel
Auf dem Schönberg
55430 Oberwesel
Focus of the workshop:
The workshop will focus on analytical tools and numerical algorithms that arise in multiscale models for complex fluid flows and soft matter systems thar are relevant for the projects within the SFB/Transregio 146 and SPP 2410 Hyperbolic Balance Laws. In particular, the topics will be (albeit not limited to) the following:
- Multiscale modelling
- Inverse problems and regularization techniques
- Structure preserving numerical methods
- Analysis and numerics of random systems
- Uncertainty quantification
Scientific program:
There will be talks by guests, postdocs, doctoral students and Masters' students on their recent results. For the talks we plan 30 minutes slots including about 5 minutes for discussions. All speakers are kindly requested to endow their talks with sufficient introductory material.
